Looks the same as mine too, I'd assumed it was factory sealant. Mine's not been repaired as far as I know.

Was it BMW that carried out the repair?

Looks a little untidy compared to the non repaired floor (above).

My CSL is with the dealer as we speak & i'm hoping the repair will look factory when completed.

Yep, a Sytner BMW dealer iirc who do a lot of them.

To the OP, the other thing to check to see if the subframe has been fixed is the warranty receipt / log. Anyone with half a brain will keep that on file as it's pretty essential for the sale these days!

I've never seen a non-fixed one. Yours could be a very neat fix, or a original boot.

Call up BMW and get a list of warranty work done on your car

The main customer service i assume as opposed to the dealer that i think it came from?

I've never done it TBH, it's something the previous owner of my car got printed. I think he got it from his local dealer.
