OP, 2 reasons:
1 - That is a rally car. The shopping version would not be that much fun.
2 - Generic electric guitar rock accomnying a car video was oficially outlawed in 1986. That is the only reason they never made Car Wars 10.

Have ridden in these examples on a few occasions when they where based at King Lynn , I found they where an agile and capable little car that performed well on the world stage during the 80's .

because as technology became cheaper we got given things that we couldn't do without. Which is why our cars now weigh a billion tonnes along with all the safety equipment. It is also why it is possible for a 40 year old car to be kept on the road but almost impossible for a failing 10 year old car.
