As title says, a Diamond Black Vauxhall Cavalier Turbo was stolen from a fellow owners club member house last night (Saturdya) in Foleshill, Coventry. I post this in the scotland regional to spread the word a bit should anyone see it.

Oh dear, hope it is returned safe and sound.

Might be worth keeping an eye on Gumtree, eBay, Facebook classified pages etc for parts with it being such a rare car. I can't imagine someone would try and change the identity and sell it on, if it is still in the country.

Hope there is some luck getting it back, hard to face facts that these thieving scum get to nick motors and never really get their come-uppance.

Car has been found safe and well( lock, ignition and steering cowl damage only). It was found within half a mile of my house in a rented garage. Garage owner found it and called the police. I haven't seen it yet because its locked away waiting for police forensics to look at it. Needless to say I'm incredibly happy but a little worried about putting it back outside my house. Tracker will def be getting fitted. Plus cctv. a lot of cash to pay out cos people cant be trusted not to take your pride and joy away but worth it. Cheers to anyone who shared this on forums or Facebook.

Good news!

Wish you luck in the future, one thing to consider is a removable steering wheel. Unless my thief brings his own, he's gonna struggle to drive it if there's no steering wheel
