So, I've just seen this - http://www.ultraeverdrystore.com/ on a fairly well respected tech site (article - http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2013/03/ars-asks-we... who are not usually taken in by cons etc. The video on the above article is amazing.

My first thought on seeing this stuff was - chassis treatment. Obviously it will be worth waiting for some independent results, like the above article before investing, since it does seem to be rather expensive (and I expect importing it will also be expensive) but it could be worth while if it really does do what it says on the tin.

Has anyone else seen/experienced this stuff?

Looks fantastic stuff but only last for up to 12 mounts outside. http://www.spillcontainment.com/everdry

Yep, unlikely to last very well on a chassis being blasted with water, stones, grit etc.

Does look good though. I'm sure there must be more resistant hydrophobic treatments out there. Even if not Super hydrophobic.

Hmm..I had not realised it would only last for 12 months, that is a bit of shame.
