What if the speed limit on NIP/summons is wrong?
Discussion
As a bit of a follow-on to my friend who got pulled the other night - he now realises that the BiB said they were prosecuting for 93 in a 50 zone, but in fact the road in question is a 60 limit all the way.
So, he's now holding out hope that he can get off on a technicality when the summons comes through if it says 93 in a 50, when the limit was in fact 60. What are the chances? I did point out to him that he was still over ANY limit in the UK, but it is interesting all the same.
