Looking for someone who does residential work, loft conversion in particular. It's for a bungalow on Glasgow's south side, something like this http://www.s1homes.com/Houses-for-sale/20130226195... but where the upstairs hasn't been converted.

Anyone on here do this type of work?

Hypostyle architects is my Uncle's company, not sure if they do residential as such, but may be worth a look, Andrew.

Plenty of Architects at my studio, Andrew. I’ll ask whether any of them are up for a homer.

What's this recession thing all about? Everyone has been too busy to take on the work and we're been passed on to www.auscodesign.co.uk Has anyone heard of them or used them before? Michael Menary is the contact name there.

Not an architect but might be worth a call to http://www.ossiecontracts.com/ he stays over the back from me, has done some work on our house and has been doing some of the attic conversions on Eastwoodmains rd and similar areas. He should be able to help or to point you in the right direction.

David, that looks fantastic! You need to do a build thread on the Homes section http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&a... There are some absolute belters on there and your's looks like it could easily hold its own.
