Get your pipes out :-)
Discussion

It's "sleeved" like the TVR exhaust mod, IE, it's a straight pipe from the cat, no mid silencer, then the "silencer" can on the back is empty, with just a straight length of pipe running through it. It sounds absolutely crazy above 5000rpm!
It was built for me by Advanced Automotive Systems of Newcastle, who tried to convince me to go for something quieter, saying I'd be back in weeks to get it changed. A year on, it still makes me grin like a loon when every time I pass a NSL sign.

You do know that they bugger your performance up. My car noticeably dropped torque low down when I fitted this, which was a pain as I could not get away from the locals throwing stuff at me as a drove past...

For some reason I don't have any photographs of it on the car, but it's visible in the first shots of this video;

Mini, RC40 exhaust, not too noisy

Chevy Pickup, basically, 2 individual pipes with 1 silencer each that poke out just behind the cab.

Can't not mention my old Maserati, I miss the noise that made.

Have there ever been any other cars that came with black tailpipes as standard? I cannot think of one.
