Indeed, must be a bit rough at that price
Plenty of em around, don't look too ropey to me I.e. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/used-cars/renault/clio...Not necessarily going to buy on the day, but at least decide which car and then try to find the best examples of that car

I find myself overwhelmed by stuff I'm trying to take in, so try to relax and wait for something to grab your attention (in a good or a bad way).
Thanks, good advice. I think I've found this on my last couple of test drives.Edited by hotchilidamo on Monday 4th March 20:59
Juvenile and NSFW, but made me laugh when I watched it a few weeks back:

Eugh. So the Type R 'wasn't available' when I got there. 1 hours drive each way wasted
Clio was OK, but didn't come away thinking this is the one. Would like to try another model I think, maybe in white as Red wasn't doing it for me
MPS - loved it, seriously excited. But, the car was sold 'as seen' and I noticed a couple of balding tyres, it hadn't been cleaned up, wing mirror rattled, untaxed, needs a service. But otherwise seemed ok. But now I'm full of mixed emotions. Loved the car to drive, but something in my gut was telling me no. I can't put my finger on whether its because the car wasn't pristine, or if it was the guy, or if it was because I'd have to fork out for tax (£460!!!)a service, and possibly new tyres straight off... Hang on a minute, that'll be why I'm uncomfortable. Its not the face value of the car, its all that added crap I hadn't considered which is pushing me beyond my budget

Thats enough to put me off (or on) a car. One of the best tools you've got when buying a car!.Clio was OK, but didn't come away thinking this is the one. Would like to try another model I think, maybe in white as Red wasn't doing it for me

Are you female? A white one is likely to drive the same as the red one I would have thought.I've never taken 'test drives' in a car unless it's the one that I want to buy. Just can't see the fun in trawling garages...

Find a decent MPS and buy that - they aren't that rare and that mid-range grunt really does make you grin. Something like this one:Clio was OK, but didn't come away thinking this is the one. Would like to try another model I think, maybe in white as Red wasn't doing it for me
