Couldn't find a legal section, so thought best placed here. I'm after information on a case that happened at Doncaster crown court in 2011. Is there anywhere that i can view the transcripts or anything? I remember in the case of the journalist and the Porsche that was fully viewable online.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Graham

This website keeps transcripts - http://www.bailii.org/

For England it only keeps cases that are in the High Court or above.

So it won;t keep run of the mill cases that happen in the magistrates or crown court as far as I can see

also it only has transcripts not the evidence shown in court. you would have to ask the court for that directly i guess.

Thanks but it was crown court. I rang the court myself but they couldn't go any further into details. Surely they keep this info on file. Wasn't trivial the guy in question got 38 months.

highly unlikely the case will have anything online

i was under the impression you can get court files as they become public record. you might have to go down there are request them.

I"'m actually in the same position. I have found the cases on the above site at crown court, and I know they were sentenced, but the last status I can find is that the case is "awaiting sentencing". This was a few years ago too,

If you do find anywhere online with more detail, do let me know smile
