I have in total about 6 letters which need to come off from the back of the Car.

How many of you have done it and what did it cost you?

Any recommendations for a place would obviously be appreciated.

Do you just mean the badges stuck on by the manufacturer, engine size, model name etc?

If so, they're usually just plastic with some sticky pad on the back. Get a hair dryer onto them to warm and soften the glue up then carefully prize and peel them off. Once they're off you might need to go at it with a small amount of polish to get rid of any residue but that's it. 10 minute job start to finish.

Yep exactly that. I used dental floss to get under the letters once softened with a hair dryer, a simple 10 min job.
