Basically sounds like your vehicles gone into limp home mode. Why ? There are many reasons but without plugging it onto diagnostics & checking fault memories its impossible to give exact cause. Did you try stopping car & switching it completely of then back on again. Sometimes the fault clears & you'll be able to continue your journey without any problems. It coulds be an engine fault such as air mass sensor, faulty catalytic convertor etc etc or an abs fault, transmission fault any of which can put the vehicle into limp mode.
As for the dealer not phoning you back my advise would be try another dealer as there are plenty of dealers out there bending over backwards to get your buisness. I'm sure you'll find one that'll collect your car or provide a courtesy car if required.

Thanks for the info, apparently there is oil leaking on to the turbo as well as a faulty air mass sensor, in addition to a transmission problem. So the actuator motor for intake must be replaced as well as the assorted parts.
In addition, the travel sensor needs to be replaced.
Mercedes Benz, will not perform these repairs, even though its a leased vehicle and will not even discuss price.
Guess we will park vehicle for remaining months of contract and return it when contract expires.
Mercedes does not care or can not be bothered about customer retention.

In the end took CLS to independent, who played around with it for 2 days, and then "discovered" turbo needed to be replaced.
Quoted £1800.00 to complete entire job, yet, web site said 50% off dealer prices, yeah, right.
Mercedes dealer kept calling and in the end, completed entire job for £718.00.
They should have given me that price up front, and could have avoided an entire week of me running around and not having use of my CLS.
