Hi guys, I had a fuel hose burst on me a while back, luckily it was at the filter and I cought it! I managed to get the hose changed for £25 (ss braided).

So im looking to change the ones under the bonnet as they are perished. As im not too familiar with the fuel system, could someone describe what the hoses are going forward to a cooler and why they are only jubilee clipped on??

Thanks

I just did mine. Shocking isn't it?

I suspect it was a mixture of costs, ease of installation and a dollop of "that'll do".

Ridds will be along shortly to suggest using fuel hose fasteners instead!

Yeah they are not the best!
Who did you get to make yours up? What did you pay?
Thanks

£37 from the local hydraulic hose supplier. This was for the three engine bay hoses (for an A/C equipped car) and re-using the 3 swaged fittings from the old hoses.
