Feeling like a happy bunny tonight.

Viewed and agreed a deal on a a 2006 Supercharged Vogue this evening.

I bought a 2001 P38 4.6 Vogue a couple of years ago as a 'rough' car to use to carry ste around and have for when the snow hits. Over the first few weeks it became my vehicle of choice for tooling around town in at the weekends. The truth being that I loved driving it around at the weekends even more than my XJR. It's probably the one car that I've actually become increasingly fond of as time has gone by, so much so that I even gave it a polish a few weeks ago! laugh

I've been looking for a Supercharged to upgrade to for a few weeks, seemed a good blend of the P38 driving experience and the engine from the XJR. Glad to say the one I looked at tonight fitted the bill perfectly. It's like having my XJR wrapped into a Range Rover. Bliss.

Really looking forward to getting hold of it in the next week or so! smile

Anyone want a P38? smile

Good choice, I've had mine for over 4 years now and I'm still not bored of it. Absolutely great cars. I've just gone over 110k miles and its still running strong.

Enjoy!

It's a great engine. You can waft along, or just boot it for a quick turn of speed as the bonnet lurches up and it throws you towards the horizon. You will love it.

I've had mine about two and a half years. Considered changing last year, but nothing seems to come close. In fact, all I keep looking at is a newer 5.0-litre V8 Supercharged version! So I might as well keep the 4.2!

My parents have one and it's the longest they've kept a Range Rover by some margin out of the 7 they've had since I was strapped into the centre of a metallic poo brown classic with velour seats as a toddler.

We've looked to replace it a couple of times, including recently toying with the idea of a Westminster, but it just feels like there's no point as it's lovely and it does everything that it's asked to superbly.

It's on 90k and will need new bushes and dampers soon and it's had a few niggles over the years but nothing major, it's a great car.
