Monaro suspension upgrade's! Can anyone recommend anything?!
Discussion
Hi, I have a 55 plate Vauxhall Monaro VXR. I have one major problem with the car and that is the ride and suspension. The ride is something I would compare to my Dad's old Mark 2 Cavalier and that was horrendous. You can feel every bump, crack and pot hole in the road the car becomes very tiring to drive. Ans as for the handling, the steering becomed very twitchy which can be come uncontrollabe at any speed. I'd just like to know if anyone has has suspension upgeades for this car and can make any recommendation's.
Thank Tom

The rubber bushes are way to soft in the Monaros, resulting in the geometry moving about all over the place. If you replace a few key bushes with SuperPro bushes it handles and feels much better, without increasing noise, vibration and harshness. In fact comfort will probably be better with these than soft rubber.
The strut bar to chassis bushes at the front and the IRS bushes at the rear will have become way too soft and will make the car feel horrible as well as having a lot less grip.
