Hi All,

Im pretty new to this site but Im hoping someone can give some advice.

Myself and a few mates are looking to attend the German Grand prix this year at the Nurburgring.
but we are struggling to find somewhere to stay - Camp/B&B etc....

I have checked out the Camping AM Nurburgring campsite which looks like a winner, however the whole site is in German which unfortunatley I dont understand, I have tried to navigate the site to check prices but there seems to be no prices on there.

I was wondering if anyone has ever done Nurburgring and if anyone can offer any advice.

Cheers Guys

Tom

Went there a few years ago, arriving on a Thursday, and found good camping very close to the circuit without any need to pre-book.

nvermind, found it.

looks like a typically german (i.e. dreadful) website. they are mostly still in about 1998 when it comes to all things online.

anyway, the prices are here:

http://www.camping-am-nuerburgring.de/Events/Forme...

13 euros per day for each adult (Erwachsener)
4 euros per day for each child (Kind)

includes a pitch and car/bike/caravan/motohome parking.

If you want electricity (Strom) it costs 3 euros and then 2 euros per day.

edit: Importantly, over the F1 weekend you have to book for 5 days (it's not neccessary to stay all of those days), from the Thursday to the Monday. You pay a full day's charge on your arrival and departure days.
