Good morning all,

We are having site exercise today and as such I am stuck in an office, I watched a video on youtube of a quadcopter fitted with first person view control/guidance. I can't remember the exact link but it had a quadcopter rigged up with a go pro HD thingy bob.

Anyway I need this in my life, and upon further investigation of videos on how to do this, I am not confident I have the skill to do it right away.

So can anyone recommend me a relatively easy yet innovative quadcopter I can try and make myself? This one is solely to learn how to solder and get to work, it won't be for camera purposes etc.

Thanks!

Ross

Can you fly already? If not, then you'll want to learn this first.

If you really want one with video (although I don't think it's first person while flying). Try this:

http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Wltoys-V959-2_4g...

It'll be the cheapest way to try it out. Expect 2-3 weeks for it to arrive though, but just check the price out.

If you just want to learn to fly first (recommended) I'd probably just go for a non camera quad.

This one is very good:

And this one is very popular, although arguably not quite as good as the V202:

The Hubsan X4 you'll find on ebay and some ship from the UK. It'll cost maybe £10 more, but you could have it in a couple of days.

After reading this I ordered a V959. Arrived over the weekend. Great fun so far. Easy enough to get hovering but a little trickier to master, especially indoor. Need to take it somewhere with more room. It's incredible value. Video quality is impressive given the size of the camera. Going to order myself some spare blades and batteries now.
