It's on a car that's for sale and included. Trying to get a valuation , I thought would be easy, but you have to sign up and give full details , supply when the tax and MOT runs out etc etc. A rough idea of what I could sell it for would be great,thanks.

reg transfers will tell you what they would offer you for it

IMO, not much unless you can find someone with the initials MFJ.

You'd probably get ~£250.

They will all give you an offer, I was hoping you would just enter the number and it would generate a value. You have to sign up and give all details such as home number and address etc etc

E1 MFJ and G1, V1,W1 etc etc are all available for £900 to buy which surprised me at that money.

The fact that they are all avaialable at the that price tells you one thing:

No one has bought them. It doesnt mean they are worth that.

the quotes you will get will be no where near what you can sell the plate for.. I had a reg with one of the larger company's who said it was worth £900

I got £300 after waiting over a year for it to sell (and still had to pay commision on the selling price!)
