Just checking, Any problems in using radweld in V8 4.2?

Yes. Don't use it in any performance car, where cooling is critical.

Agree with Craig. Do not use it. That's not just my advice, but also from the likes of TVR Power, etc.

Put an egg in instead, it'll do less damage and you'll get lunch too.

Or figure out where the problem is first and if there are any other ways of fixing it? Quite common to get a small leak from the top of it. Had this on mine aaaages ago, and sealed it with a tube of Araldyte! Never bothered me again...

silver solder. You can buy it in sticks from B&Q etc. Small well aimed blow torch, problem solved and you don't even have to drain your radiator to do it.

Had a minor rad leak in my Tuscan. Guy at TVR power said "just stick some radweld in, companies such as Jaguar put it in from new to minimise warrany claims, without problems".
Have had no overheating probs whatsoever. Maybe Cerb rad is different to Tuscans.
