Any builders around?
Discussion
Hi,
Seen a house I'm interested in near Aberdeen but it's too small and needs a lot of work (rot and woodworm throughout).
Before I waste anyones time getting people to have a look at it is there anyone who would be able to give a ballpark figure of what it would cost to do the changes below? Not looking for anything accurate or kitchens, bathrooms, etc. just a rough guide for the structural work to see if I should bother going any futher.
Building is approx 10m x 8m, single storey granite construction.
Rip out everything just leaving the stone walls.
Build 10m x 6m extension to rear.
Build new roof containing two new bedrooms and bathroom.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
I'm currently using this chap for a lot of work:

A friendly, laid-back, honest all-round tradesman who's happy to do whatever you want. Definitely worth a call for a quote.
Good luck!
Another vote for bob, he's very good and a good guy to deal with as well.I'm currently using this chap for a lot of work:
