Firstly I cant believe how many 997s are on the market here... rather worrying.

im curious what everyone thinks here... this particular end of model GTS for sale.

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...

I thought a main dealer such as this would not stock a car after 3-4 months... what the ad doesnt say is if its 2nd hand but i assume form having done 100miles that its a new car...

now the 991 has been out for a long time, surely this will be a very hard car to shift at that sort of price?
dont get me wrong I think the gts is a beautiful looking car
where do you think the price should lye on this given its old stock ?

Found plenty of those when I was looking for PDK cars.

about right for it is competing with the good looking Boxster & 991. The GTS Coupe may fare better

I would say £70k for an old shape car is off their head. The minute you walk out the door and then try and retrade that car it will be sub £60k without a 2nd thought. Seems crazy that Porsche dont just discount it and get it off the forecourt.

The OPC I spoke to recently said they still find the GTS a popular secondhand buy. Mostly cars at £60k-odd. The soft tops seem to have softened in price and the 4 GTS cars have started to weaken a bit.

If you look at the prices PDK Gen 2 cars are fetching then the GTS is not far off the money. There are some anomalous prices, of course.

Nice spec on that car, but it has been a press car, and has been driven hard.
It wouldn't bother me, but it might some.
It's also sold.....

EDIT.
Oops, scrub that, I thought it was the white one they were selling, with a similar spec.

Had a look around it at the Cayman Launch the other night, looked fantastic although it was in the dark.

Didn't realise it was a press car, how did you become aware of that?
