With the HUGE help of Robert S I have found an "S Cabriolet" - December 2004 build.

Now - what is my current drive worth in terms of sale?

Prefer private sale as expect realise better return - I hope!

Good news on finding an S cab...i thought you wanted a Murci ??

In terms of price...I would think you are looking at late £60k's if you want a quick sale...anything above low £70k's and I think you have done well on a private sale....
I appreciate it doesn't seem a great price, the mileage is a tad high. I would suggest calling a few dealers asking for their bid and pricing a few £K above on a private sale, knowing you have the dealer bid to fall back on...Good luck...

I'd stay as you are and roll any deposit onto the 997tt in two years time. Take the spare £30k and buy a caterham or an Atom.

LOVE the Murci but fear cannot live with it at the moment - fear it will have to wait a couple of years until I can afford a fleet of cars.

That's the cool thing about the "s cab" - appart from being very gay it will do everything!

But how long b4 the x50 997 will be available?

having piled miles on the coupe, this coule be excellent for a couple of years.

I am still not 100% as this build is tad too early, I had hoped for spring....

My OPC wouldn't even confirm there would be a higher power version. Hence my immediate thoughts to keep the 996 with the low mileage I am doing (7k pa) and maybe change when the turbo after 997tt comes out.

I could be interested Buster. Do you do many trackdays? Want a road-legal Radical in P/X? Great fun on the road when the sun is out too.
