Looking for a good pcp deals if anyone knows something suitable. ..

Details of what im looking for is as follows:

Practical car with 4/5 doors (no people carrier's tho)

Diesel

Over 50mpg

Under 200 in road tax

Cruise control a must

Bluetooth would be good but not deal breaker.

Open to new or used cars

If used under 12 months old with around 10k miles or less.

Got a part ex which has 5k finance to clear and was valued for part ex at 5400 yesterday.

And looking for payments under 300 a month over upto 5 years doing about 18k miles a year.

Looking to change as soon as if anyone can come up with something that be great!

Thank you I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

An awful lot of choice out there - Golf is a good shout as always. (Feel free to message me for any PCP quotes for any used cars you find, up to 5 years old.) Cheers, Richard

I'd put up a new Fiesta as a reasonable option. Most of the range have bluetooth, cruise and other toys, the newer ones are bigger than you'd think, and the one I had was a 1.6 TDCi, which wasnt slow. It didnt set the world on fire, but was poky enough in mid range to get around things going up and down the A1. The seats were decent, and I didnt felel like I had to unfold my back after a couple of hours in it.

I think with the sort of miles you'll be doing vs the budget you have, anything larger will cost more, unless you take it out over 4 or 5 years

If you're prepared to finance over 5 years and 90k, what's wrong with a bank loan?

I suspect that the payments would be nearly identical but with a PCP you'd still be owing the balloon.

I would recommend giving Richard a PM.

He supplied me with some decent quotes a while back.

I was looking at the V40 1.6D Stop/start and it came in at about £250 pcm but that was less miles. You may be able to get it for less than £300 for 18k per year.

Not sure these are available at 18k/yr though. I was looking at a Merc c220 diesel the other day, 3+35 (or 3+23), ~£320 a month inc VAT. Very tempted.

For that duration and mileage I'd look at a supermarket loan over a PCP.
