Wheel Refurb - colour matching question.

I need to get a wheel refurbed after carefully scraping a front silver spider down a kerb yesterday. A question now occurs to me.

How can you ensure that the refurbed wheel will match the existing other wheels? Do refurbers take this into account?
Is the standard silver spider colour a known shade in the industry or is it all down to what Fred with the spray gun is shooting that day?

I would expect ,if you took your wheel to a half decent sprayer and told him you want it finished in the exact same shade, he would mix it to match spot on . I know where I take mine he would

Thanks for your thoughts. I can see I might have to actually pick up the phone and ask - always the last resort for Swisstoni.
