We should all collectivley chip in to buy it, then set fire to it!! 
I hate replicas, with the exception of actual complete build replica cars like the classic ferraris, and some of the modern Lambo kits that are available, that are exact scale etc....
But slapping on some fibre glass panels and a badge.... The worst kind are the MR2 ferrari replicas, I hate those, in fact I almost feel sorry for the idiot driving it....

Here we have my dream car going on Ebay...it is sad sale as I bought it with intention of keeping it for a long time...
I have bought that vehicle about a year ago and the bodywork was awful engine was I would say ok, now its been a year and I mange to find few days and do some work to it...so:
The car has TVR Manifolds and upgraded exhaust
Grey metallic finish bodywork in very good condition no swirls marks etc I restored it to A1
Also the interior has brand new leather finish on dashboard! It has Aston Martin logo in the clock too
Leather is in very good condition too

The car has no Mot or Tax as I simply never had time go round it.
The car itself is a 1982 Ford Capri 2.8 V6 rare engine, Capris with this engines go for no less £4k on Autotrader, but...I wanted best possible engine in my dream car

,it would have been a welcome attraction at Hever,you could all have p*ssed on it,kicked the tyres then torched it..........As for me I could go home on the Bus,far less embarrassing

Likewise but are the "recreations" any better than the fake plastic replicas. I struggle with things like the Suffolk SS100s and the DBR2 replicas after all your still driving round in a pile of tubes welded into a chassis with a replica body, plastic or metal, and a Jaguar lump. You may as well have a TVR with no pretentious of being anything else.

I know what you are saying, but they are better.... Built from scratch, very hard to tell the difference, plus a lot of skill and still a lot of expense in the build...Its just the bolt on crap I hate... The ones that are so obvious its painfull....

I'm with you on the ferrari conversions, they usually look obviously fake, iffy shut lines, awkward wheel alignment etc, oh and the fact that they can cost 3/4 of just buying a real one by the time its even passable.
Last "summer" at a car show, there was about 8 of them, mostly MR355's, as part of a erm, display, of the British Italian Replica club. someone summed it up very nicely for me, a mum and say 5 year old kid, he was pointing at one of them, and she said to him, "Dont point, it'll only encourage them" :-D
