window problem on vantage

Wonder if anyone has any idea what's wrong with the driver's window on my 2007 vantage? The window opens and closes in small steps and then is not rising when the door's closed. The passenger side window is fine and I have tried to reset the windows as per the FAQs - but no joy. The car is under warranty so can take in into AM to get fixed (hopefully) but could it be a quick fix?
