Hi all, I've removed my engine for a rebuild and when doing this i've noticed there is oil in my boost pipes and in the bottom of my intercooler. can any one shed some light.
Ive had the valve springs changed during last rebuild,
turbo's are new and upgraded
cheers for any input

Is it getting in from your oil seperator?

Also is it in both pipes from both turbos?

A little oil is common, so long as its just residue and not a litre or two that's accumulated in the intercooler.

If turbos have been re furbed and its not burning heaps of oil it should be fine but even if turbos are refurbed it doesn't take much to kill the seals, if the engine is out I'd still send them away to universal for a check up anyway.

Does the breather still vent back into the inlet?
