Not a very PH topic, but any advice appreciated. Does anyone know of any specialist websites, dealers etc where I can sell a car with hand controls? The other option is to take them off and sell the car on Autotrader, and the controls on eBay, but seems a pity since it is all ready to go for someone who needs them.

There must be some sort of motorbility forum out there, I know that there is a disabled bikers forum so there must be one for cars?

Are the hand controls manually connected to the pedals? If so is it just a case of removing the bolts holding it together. Will you be transfering them to your next vehicle?

I use an infrared Lodgeson handcontrol clamped to the steering wheel. Depending on the car, I guess the chances of you finding a buyer with that particular limitation are small!

Having said that these chaps sell a few used adapted cars http://www.mobilitychoicemotoring.co.uk/

Yes they are manually connected, and it is just a case of removing a few bolts. Thankfully not needed on the next vehicle as my wife's condition has improved, and she can now drive fine using her feet. The next vehicle is larger, so I don't think they would fit in any case.
