Sad for other road users wink

Well done, remember the first time I went out 'alone'. Great fun not having anyone telling me 'speed, speed watch your speed'...

Welcome to a life of depreciating assets, bills and a lowering level of general fitness.... well, once you pass the real test.

Well done. Now drive sensibly for a few years build up your no claims with your own insuranceand by the time your 20 you sholud be able to get something a bit more lively with a "sensible" fully comp insurance quote.

To give you an idea I bought a fiesta when I passed my test when I was 18 and at the time ford was giving away 2 years free insurance for 18-65 year olds so I saved about £3000 on insurance.

It is always worth reading the small print on the deals that the manufacturers are giving out and you could end up with something that looks good with a sensible engine and costs you bugger all to run.

I saw the sad face and thought this might be a "I passed my driving test... but ran over a cat" or something posts.

Well done - freedom awaits

You know that shining bonfire of happiness that you have in your heart at the moment?

Ring you insurance company, and tell them you are no longer on a Provisional licence. Do I hear a hissing noise?

On my driving test an old lady stepped out to cross the road, forcing me to stop. I apparently shouldn't have stopped as it wasn't a 'designated crossing area'
fk driving test examiners.

But congrats to you anyway, just the hassle of insurance in your way now!

oh and one of the most important lessons you will ever learn.

find out what the first two letters of the reg are on police cars in your area.
then memorise it and check it againt every car that travels behind you.

thank me later.
