It will be loads ! I have one on my S . Not sure if I prefer it to my leather one. Trouble is they get a bit polished with use.

I think one of the dealers who advertise Aston parts online had one brand new about a month ago.
It was £399 (+VAT)
When I noticed it I thought that was reasonable and I meant to post a link to it on here incase anyone was looking for one.

I have one on my V12V and I am also not convinced I would choose it again over a leather wheel, although it does suit the V12V better.

I personally don't have the "polished" problem that Rob has yet, but maybe its just that his hands a little more sweaty than mine! Well, I hope that its just sweat!

Wet Wipes are your friend.

Good for babies bum.....good for your alcantara steering wheel.

Method:
1. Place wet wipe on wheel and dap hand on/off wipe.
2. Do not rub the wheel directly, do not slide along the wheel.
3. ste comes off like nothing else.
4. Allow to dry completely before using the wheel with your hands
5. Repeat every 2-3 uses.
6. Dont be frightened. No need to kak-it when youre driving and have your hands sweat.

Alcantara perks-up, feels light and fluffy, matting dissapears.
Looks good as new.

Simples.

Can you tell us about where you got it retrimmed, how long did it take etc.

Did you have a spare wheel to keep the car in use.

No, I quite like the contrast of the black. However the gearshift gaitor has been done in the same fabric and I will eventually have the door cards and partial seats done the same.

I had it done via Bamford Rose while they had the car, no idea on cost or time... But not long.

Thanks for all of the comments and suggestions chaps.

I had not actually thought of getting my existing wheel covered (thanks Yeti and Karlfranz) but will give it some consideration.

I suppose the benefit of a new wheel is being able to swap back to the leather one if the Alcantra gets all shiny and horrible.

oooh where do I start..... This is all dependent on the price not being way off and am still waiting for the costings to come back...

Door cards (centre bits)
Seats (similar to the DBS style)
bits of the dash also.... centre bit of the cowling for the dials, hot air ven panels ether side and the bits up by the windows that links them...

All in charcoal grey..
