what sticky tape?

Decided to fit my n400 sills after all, then sell the car later in the year with them on.
But, what sticky tape should i use to refit the rubber door seal?
I tried number plate tape but it's crap.

1/4in 3M double-sided automotive tape. It has red backing you peel off. Available at most automotive parts stores.

Only use genuine 3M tape, most of the cheaper brands are rubbish. In this case you get what you pay for.

Steve.... I used a 3M double sided foam tape.... Unsuccessfully... It wouldn't stick to the rubber...

The chap that sprayed them told me to use 3M 06506 "refix" tape...... Perfect

I got it from a lcal panel and paint supplier...
