as above, manual, I have been offered one with 80k as a straight swap against wife fiesta -owner is looking to downsize and we to upsize. Any opinions/ honest reviews would help.
I need it for a newborn, wife, myself and up to two other family members, mixture of road and light off roading (we live on edge of Australian Outback). Maybe occasional towing/ launching (small boat/ trailer)

anything specific to look out for?? all the reviews I have seen were when it was new, now its 7 years old whats the deal?

A bit late to the party but I doubt you'll have any issues, I've had both the 2001 series and the series that you have CRVs and apart from getting one a little stuck in some fairly serious mud I had no issues with either... the later car was a top spec with leather and nav and as I recall it drove nicely and cost nothing in the 70k miles we put on it.

I seem to remember feeling that the autobox was a bit dumb but that's not relevent for you anyway...

Congrats on the new car.

thanks, all the reviews I read said it was pretty much indestrutable, It turned out to be the 4x4 sport so every toy except leather (which is a good thing in the tropics)
