I went from over £900 on an MR2 to under £300 on my MX5 this year. Tempted to run 3 mx5's at once now.

My mother pays just over a ton on her Yaris SR, it used to cost me £500 when it was my car...the wife's beetle on a classic policy comes in at well under a ton though which is not to be sniffed at.

Mine are pretty low now:

£86 p.a fully comp on my old Landy Series (limited to 5k miles, though)

£228 p.a fully comp on my Audi B7 S4 Cabriolet, which I think is pretty decent thumbup

Insurance puzzles me.

My V8 90 (land Rover) was £86 per year with Adrian Flux. Heavily modified and all declared.

This year the renewal jumped to £420. Go figure.

My insurance premium has reduced every year for the last 5 years, and I'm not 17yrs old, I'm a middle aged bloke with full NCD. I don't know why everyone moans all the time.

Just renewed mine for £500, not to bad I don't think for a 20 year old on a 1.8 Corsa.

About £75 on my MGB GT.

My 530i (much newer of course) isn't bad at £340.

I have two potential additional heaps of old Japanese Tat on the horizon

1990 RX7 Turbo 2

1991 Nissan 300 ZX

My broker said today £169 each, £175 for my 944 Cab already

£169 to insure a 300 bhp RWD Jap Coupe, awesome, sometimes being old (42) isnt so bad.

Last quote on the 350Z Roadster - £350.

To think I am getting rid because it costs too much to run.

Annoyingly, the road tax costs more than the insurance rolleyes
