Hi Guys

I am very close to completion on a major engine upgrade on my Wedge ... more will follow! yes

I seem to have a voltage interference issue on the rev counter sensing line from the coil with the new engine. These were not needed on the project engine and i have lost / got rid of it!. This is the suppressor or / condenser that is connected to the pos + side of the coil and the vehicle earth. Does anyone have a good one spare or know the spec, so I can pop one on to see if it cures my very lively rev counter!

Thanks in advance

Chris

They are very common - any old one ripped froma scrapyard will do. Probably 1uF 250V or 500V?

Thanks Adam, will have a look around very strange that the Serp motor is causing this issue but hopefully cleaning up the pulses to the rev counter will cure this....he hopes!!!
