The ones I fitted to T4 were from a Landrover.
They mount on the screen uprights perfectly (well after fitting you are best just applying a small amount of silicon just to stop ingress of water through any slight gaps)and gave a good view of what is behind you.

Mine came off an LDV (well Freightrover to be exact) but almost any older van mirrors will fit. Just be careful of the mounting of the stalks ie; it will fit the Geep.

My local accessory shop sells "small commercial" mirrors for about £7. They come with clamps to suit a 15mm tube/rod mounting. I've made brackets to bolt to the screen frame. If you need a pic...
Cheers

The hole in the screen surround that normally holds the hood support is tapped M10 x 1.5 to take the (stainless) bolt. The thread on the mirror bolt is M6 and has a (stainless) domed nut. The brackets are double thickness slotted strip from same source as mirrors. Double thickness as single flexed too much. I've fitted a pair. Whole lot drenched in Hammerite. The aerodynamics have been affected, I can now wear a baseball cap at any speed!!!

You will notice that I don't use a hood- this may affect your decision !!!
Cheers
Ian

Thanks boys, for all your help. To-day I was in a motorists shop and saw some mirrors exactly as IanA described, SO - there I go - thanks again
