Hello chaps and chapesses.
Been a while since I posted in here.
I'm normally terrible at keeping these updated but will try my best this time
Basic info on it.
I had an even better example last year sadly some idiot pulled out into me and wrote it off.

A few marks here and there and the usual arch rust but not as bad as my last one!
Absolutely flawless drove me and O/H to and from nottinghamshire to the lakes without a hitch only used half a tank getting there too!
Still very tight to drive and no rattles or knocks which is an alien concept looking at my car history!
They do have a certain image tbh I couldn't care less about that the day I bought it I took it down a country lane it had me grinning ear to ear and surely as a petrolhead that's what it's all about?

I'll add some more info and pics as I go along I've got the bits ready to service it and change the heater control valve(stuck open so hot air only)

Serviced it today and changed the Heater control valve with my brothers help
Turns out the heater control valve didn't need changing we only found this out when we fitted the new one and it was still only blowing hot.
After alot of faffing about the problem was wittled down to the heater control panel the resistor that sends the hot/cold signal to the valve had died...
A trip to the scrappy and £15 later we had the new panel fitted and we had cold air again
Tyres and bodywork to do next slowly but surely shes getting there.

I had a 1.4 Puma a couple of years ago which died and ended up costing a lot of money, but I'd have another. Out of interest how much are these worth nowadays? I seem to recall the 1.4 being at a slight premium due to the young driver/cheap insurance thing but even then I got a 2000W car (in 2009/10) for £1k. Very cheap car and the 1.7s are even better.

Just a small update fitted some aero wipers off ebay as the old ones looked like they haven't been changed in years!

Anyone feel like a read?
One evening around a week ago she started overevving and misfiring badly under load.
Next day sent her to the garage to get diagnosed they claimed it to be a £101 part from ford which was the wiring going to the throttle position sensor.They only claimed this since they phoned ford.
I wasn't convinced so paid for thier diag and booked into ford yesterday morning.
Took her in and waited.
Conclusion Its a sticky throttle body and the throttle position sensor £375 for the body and £64 for the TPS!!!
Note a throttle body is £25 from my local scrappy.
So I bought a tps from an autofactors which is actually a ford part as you can obviously tell the logo has been ground off and all the serial numbers match and it looks identical.
Still overevving slightly but better under load so disconnected the speed sensor and all is well.
I'm not really shocked but what if I was an average joe and I paid all this money?
