So, has anyone found that their gym has actually changed it's membership terms yet?

I don't actually see why losing one's job should have a bearing on any contract.

Will this new rule extend to mobile phones, sky agreements or any other commitments? Seems a little unfair if not.

Maybe unsurprisingly, I run fixed term memberships in my leisure business...the problem with the injury thing is that people can get a doctor to write anything for £15 or whatever.

People need to grow up and honour any contract they sign. Nobody forces one to join a gym ffs.
