Heatshielding

Hello Group,

I'm looking to collect some experiences with heat shielding on the exhaust side of the footwells in a Vixen. I'm thinking of a combination of a coated exhaust manifold and self adhesive reflective material on the glass fibre footwells themselves. This does leave the chassis rail itself unprotected but I'm not sure this is such an issue.

Can anyone provide any helpful experience or suggestions?
