About the same as above. I'd view it as a Cerb with a knackered engine that just happens to be driveable. The "best combination" bit in the advert is very much a matter of opinion.

Looks like a good engine with 300 plus bhp . Ok its not an AJP or speed six but there will be a lot less maintenance and worrying about speed six engine reliability . Could be a good plodder.

Doesn't it rather miss the point of what a Cerbera is a bit?

WTF is wrong with Pistonheads? I use this phone for all forums I use yet from some reason with Pistonheads it posts everything several times over just to be sure.

Hmm... buy car, sell engine to Chim. Slot in 4.9 or LS1, go sideways lots.

That's been for sale for months was on fleabay last Summer. You need to look at that as a trade sale as its not really desirable to the typical buying audience. If everything else is perfect on it, the max woukd have to be tops 4k. Then source an ajp.

The trade in on that would be pitiful. No offence intended.

Worth more in parts?
Suspect it would cost a fair old amount to 'fix'.

Ideal candidate for export to USA via Canada with engine removal before entry in USA, then combine with written off Range Rover and have the only Cerbera in the States. Worth a lot to the right person, which would be me if I wasn't so poor right now....

Really? I know there was one here legally for 12 months owned by an ex-pat, but I haven't heard of any others.

Clearly its difficult to sell because as said it has been for sale, certainly since last summer. Surely it must be worth at least as much as 1 of the right-off (no chassis damage, easy fix, repairs for £600 rolleyes) jobs.
Like the idea of selling the engine to a Chimp owner and sticking an LS in there - so if the rest of the car is good must be £6k to £7k ??

Well no an LS is not correct... but I guess it depends what your after. For me an early 4.2 with extensive refurb to keep it origanal ( ok spiders.. ) is what I wanted. But if you bought this Cerb and flogged the Rover engine...

At what point in the pricing of engines would you think? Sod it, let's go for it...

That said I have a race Tuscan engine being offered to me, maybe rebuild a stacked str6 and swap engines?
