guess the fault and win a pat on the back
Discussion
ok my cerby loving buddies, Who wants to guess the fault, 10 points to the first correct answer (which I will hopefully find out tomorrow)
MIL light came on whilst driving
de-imobilised tone dosent stop when engine is running
I reckon the options are;
crank sensor foooked
lambda/s wonky
throt pots icky
Other than that she is running fine and danndy
any further suggestions welcome and do maplins do a 9 pin-usb lead????

Two faults?
1.Immobliser
2.Mil light is the easy one to fix, it will tell you whats causing the light to come on. Did the light come on at low revs or high?
Guess wise i'm with Gazzab as a duff air temp and the mbe will substitute a value.
Lambads for low rev faults
Crank sensor affects running same with throttle pots
Would low voltage seen by the mbe throw a Mil light? - don't know

It is entirely possible that its showing that reading because that bank is running permanently rich... Its always worth swapping the sensors over to the other bank and seeing if the fault follows the sensor before forking out for another one.
Don't just switch the plugs round though as that will confuse the hell out of the ECU, you need to physicaly swap them round as well.
