Soooooo....
Fired up the v8 vantage this morning, drove off, then a loudest of loud screeching noise comes from the rear, i think driver side. Its horrendous. Both forward and reverse but if i swing to the right the noise goes. So i could drive round a round about all day no problems. Does anyone know the cause of this?? also are there sensors in the rear pads to tell you if the pads need replacing?
I have a date in approximately 1hr 10, looks like ill be taking the smax... nothing says im ready to start a family more than a 7 seater people carrier.....

You guys may well just be absolute F...ING genius's!!! absolute blitz it round the bloke, wheel spinning to judder the car and bit and all of a sudden it sounded like something dislodged, noise goon BOOM.... now best leave the house before im late!!!

Definitely.... You'd be amazed at the damage a stone can cause..... I once had one in my jeep, that completely locked the front wheel..... The trouble was with 4 wheel drive, it made a valiant attempt at going forwards.

I was walking down the hill with the Mrs and heard you coming from miles off with the screech!
haha yes that was me and it was tremendously loud!! All good now, cant feel any scoring on the disc luckilyI was walking down the hill with the Mrs and heard you coming from miles off with the screech!

+1 I had one in the middle of nowhere in the Scottish Highlands 
Numerous attempts at braking accelerating & cornering didn't dislodge it.
It looked like a highly polished gem stone and left a groove in the front disc by the time I jacked the thing up and dug it out
