Evoque Build Time?

If ordering a new Evoque does it makes a difference to which dealer I go to in terms of build time?

Also any dealer recommendation in London area.

Lastly roughly how long are they taking for delivery?

Definitely worth phoning around to check on build slots which the dealer may already have in the system, which you can adjust to your spec.

Recon be 6-10weeks, dependant on trim level/engine.

Yes, it does depend on the dealer. I ordered one on 3rd Feb, picked it up on Saturday - this was Hunters Guildford, part of the Inchcape group.

Just resurrecting this post.

I am seriously considering placing an order, dealer today suggested that end July would be likely delivery. Surprising considering some of the comments above. Anyone else placed an order recently, so I can compare?

May have to check with other dealers, as suggested. And on that subject - am I likely to get a deal if I do a ring round? I have done something similar before, but with a different manufacturer, with some success. Might mean a bit of a drive to collect, but if the saving is enough, its worth it.

Off for a test drive this morning, but I have contacted another dealer who was quoting an early June build slot, so as you suggest it can be improved. Although the alternative dealer was meant to call me back yesterday and they didn't so your comment on patience is already appropriate.
