Cost to upgrade a DB9 and eating my hat (Lunablack)

Following on from an earlier topic I posted regarding swopping my 2006 20k miles Black DB9 Volante needing tax and a service for another DB9, I have done the deed.
Mine needed around £3k to keep it on the road, including warranty if I was to go down that route.
I was offered a 2008 Meteorite Grey DB9 Volante 13k miles fully serviced, taxed ,years premium warranty from Grange Aston in Exeter.After severe, me not being bothered negotiations the final cost to change was £8900.
Lunablack has promised to eat his hat and video it if my cost to change was less than £15k!!!!!!!!!!!
Noticeable difference in drive,interior and mod cons.Aston Martin did get their act together year on year with these cars.
The colour does take some getting used to, but have noticed today the colour turns women`s head`s whereas my Black one would turn men`s head`s. (Topic there)
Anyway it has been used as a stepping stone to work my way up to a DBS Volante one day when I grow up.
My old car will probably be on sale soon at Grange Exeter soon, and when I dropped it off yesterday it was purring like a cat after the 180 mile run. Good car with everything sorted so if the price is right would be a good introduction to Aston ownership.

Paddy, will call you when I need the detailing done,but they have presented it to me immaculately..so good that water just beads off the moment it touches the bodywork.Must ask them what they used on it.
Beoon,your man maths were right,and there was no way I could turn that deal down.Wipers did work as it p**sed down all the way back from Exeter and not a squeak in sight or sound.Very noticeable difference between the years and I am glad I did it...for the time being
