Tragic story. A colleague of mine who had been training for a 200+ mile charity bike ride and had already smashed his sponsorhip target.
Sadly his training partner had been out of town on the day.

He leaves behind a wife and two sons.

Be safe out there, people. Danger can come from the least expected places.

Guys,

I didn't know Sean but his story is inspiring. He was planning a charity ride from Kent to Amsterdam over 3 days, which is no mean feat when you realise that Sean used prosthetic limbs!

He suffered with a similar condition to Oscar Pistorius and his ride was in aid of the charity 'get kids going' which inspires disabled children to play sport.

Sean's just giving page is below, where people are pledging donations in his memory.

Just got back from a ride and read this, such a sad story. Its nice when the donation meter whizzes past 100% though!

Thanks for linking that. Wasn't sure if I could/should.
