Newbie Says Hello!

Hi all, my name is Rob and i am the new proud owner of H3 RJA (S3)once owned by the esteemed Mycroft of these ere parts! Drove her home today with usual trepidation and excitement all rolled into one! Once i parked her up in the garage it hit me like being a first time dad! the emormity of what you have done and the responsibility of what you are taking on! As you may have guessed this is my first TVR so be gentle with me and tell me its going to be alright.....please! ;-)

I'm a newbie too. Infact I've bought mine but haven't got it yet !!

I've been fortunate enought to meet many of the S owners on this forum and they are a lovely bunch. I was told by TurboTony that one of the best parts of ownership was the other owners.

Well done! You won't regret your purchase. So much help and information on this forum. If you do find some 'characteristics' in your car then it is likely someone else has experienced the same. When you get chance some photos would be great.

Don't be afraid - now I know that TVR S is extremely simple to fix and extremely fun to drive

Hello and welcome to the S club. There are no clues as to where you reside but you would be welcome to join us at any of the meetings that get posted on here.
I am really glad I bought my S and that is almost 18 months ago, lots of work to do, but drive it as much as I can.

We checked out the quality of the tea and flapjacks at Wellesbourne, on our way back from Shelsley on Sunday, and have to say very nice indeed, and not too busy at 3 pm, not sure where the time and tank of fuel disappeared to between leaving Shelsley at 12 noon,and getting home at 4pm.
I think I must have a bit of a DeLorean in my S, "Forward to the Past " or something.

Hi again and thanks for all the welcome messages! Im in the west country near weston super mare for my sins, and just started compiling a list of the stuff to sort. so far not too bad, heater has no heat, rev counter functioning sort of! Petrol guage not working, oil pressure guage not functioning properly, electric windows sloooow moooo! but will get round to them all in time.cheers everyone!

Re heater - Try moving it to cold - On mine the Red and blue don't quite match reality!
