2 guesses biggrin

It'll be the vr6, plus gearbox, a z drive and another 2 diffs.

Mid engined, 4WD Mr2 is my thinking.

Offset engine and box so it's balanced with one driver. Think Group B.

It'd steal a bit of passenger side cabin room but there's room behind the seat to play with. Shafts running up and down the middle of the car and a diff at each end.

Would keep the Mr2 style handling but be pretty damn effective in the wet.

Nothing mad then Olie.

Can't help but think that if you want AWD then surely let Porsche/Subaru/Mitsi do it for you? They are pretty damn good at it.
On the other hand, this could be a nice 037 style bit of weird and wonderful!

Nobody does mid engined 4WD this side of a rather expensive supercar these days though.

Would the VR6 have enough grunt to make it worthwhile?
Were they not something like 160-190BHP in various guises.

290 in 3.6L form.

Prove the theory and then look at SCing etc. Just want to know some sizes so i can see how feasible it is.

a measure of the engine and gearbox front face to driveshaft flange would be great.
