Possible issue with adverts on some threads?

I have just tried a few threads, and the pages with no adverts mid page, (shorter pages for example), load up fine. However, when you have a page with an advert between posts, it seems to stop, and the rest of the page will not load. Other pages with them work fine, such as 'That little genius'. It is not a bandwidth issue, as I get 20+ Mb/s even at the bottom of the garden, and video's, and streaming is all working fine.

So is there an issue with the service that supplies adverts? This is on an ipad2 using safari, 6.1.2
