Have been watching this on "Crufts" - You Tube and it is covering so much more not shown on TV.

LOL I don't enjoy shows when I am at them and my dog wins..... Let alone watching it on TV too!

You have to feel sorry for him - he started as dog person on Blue Peter in about 1965 and has now attained the dizzy rank of... dog person. Better than some chattering estuary bimbo who only got the job by sleeping with the Producer!

So many breeds its unreal. I thought i had a good grasp of which breed was which, then crufts comes on and out trot a few mutant things with weird names from unknown countries!

i think it's a bit like 'al dente' pasta- obviously invented when a chef got it wrong and didn't cook it long enough, but to confuse the important food critic he claimed it as a new invention and that it was all the rage in Italy. So the critic, not wanting to seem behind the cutting edge, said it was a sensation and it spread like wildfire.....

So these breeders might be going for a basic Lab or spaniel and then end up with some oddball in the litter. But instead of selling it on as a mistake, they claim it is a new breed and therefore an intended change and the world goes nuts when it comes prancing on covered in more hair products than cheryl cole!

The only gripe was the lack of obedience. I didn't see any in the coverage. I was however delighted to see my friend come 2nd in her HTM class despite being hooked up to oxygen throughout.
