I cannot help - but had similar issues with my 156. After trawling the interweb, scraping my fingers and hand, and a damaged ego for not being able to change a bulb, I left it to a garage to fix...... and then within a month the other bulb went!!!

It is sheer stupidity the way they're built into the cluster. Had to phone in a mechanic to change a bulb which was quite embarrassing Mike

As said above there is a black cap which needs to be unscrewed. Pull the leads out & replace the bulb.
Biggest tip ever is to get the small mirror thing from your wifes hand bag & have a butchers!!!!
