Having recently returned from 2 weeks away I found my housemates a little pissed off. Apparently my alarm had being making odd little beeps then began going off continually. The key fob would not reset and the battery subsequently needed replacing. As I live in the north of Scotland (Inverness is the nearest place resembling civilisation) there are no TVR dealers up here. I usually get my Chimaera (4.0 HC 95) serviced at Horseless carriages Harrogate however the car will now not lock and with the new battery connected still makes intermittant beeping noises. Does anyone know a quick fix to stop the beeps and at least allow me to lock the car. Maybe then I can risk the jourbey south! Any bright ideas would be appreciated!

My 95 Griffith has a Foxguard. I got a new sounder fitted on Monday. The fitter said as long as the siren isnt already going you can use the small round key to silence it. I dont know where the sounder is on a chim and this does assume you have the key !

Mine's an F1-11 too. The beep indicates that the CAR battery is flat(ish) rather than a problem with the fob or alarm etc. Put a charger on the battery and if the alarm then goes off use the override key (the round one) to turn the siren off. Once the battery is charged up a bit (which won't need to be fully charged) then you should be able to set/reset the alarm and immobiliser in the normal way. Then just turn the siren back on.

If the alarm and fob have somehow got unsynchronised I can let you know how to resynchronise them offline.
