Hey, I'm a part time professional photographer with my own studio. I've never used medium format as currently I use a Canon 5D or 50D. I'd like to dip my toe in though, so would like to spend circa £400 on something to get me started. My father-in-law has a Bronica ETR, so I could take the easy route and get one of those, but would like your advice first. Main point for me would relate to lens choice - my studio is only about 7 or 8 metres long and would like to be able to take full body shots at this distance if poss. All comments welcome,

Cheers,

Stu.

For a studio setting there is all sorts of choice, I'd probably look at a Mamiya RZ67. You can get a digital back if you've got plenty of money. If you want something a little more modern with dslr handling you could look out for a Mamiya 645AFD, I had one, great bit of kit, very like using a modern dslr.

I'd have a look at Pentax's offerings - 67, or 645(N)(II).
